Customer Support Specialist


Spex is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to stand on the front line and answer questions via phone, email, chat and, on occasion, in person. Spex provides best-in-class property intelligence software for the insurance industry. Our customers include some of the best restoration contractors, forensic engineering firms, construction consulting firms, IA, TPA and P&C Insurance Carriers.

What you’ll primarily be doing:

  • Quickly triaging and responding to phone, email and chat requests from customers related to:
  • Bug identification and, when possible, reproduction
  • Feature requests
  • On-the-fly training requests
  • Diligently documenting all requests in internal systems
  • Working with other departments to ensure the customer’s request is clearly understood
  • Managing and updating the customer on the resolution of each request until satisfactorily resolved.
  • Performing high-level product trainings for small groups - both virtually and in-person

  • Helping manage the device procurement and management process for customers
  • Helping to update and maintain training and support resources
  • Supporting the CS team in a variety of other customer-centric tasks
