Notes and Audio Notes


ADDING TEXT NOTES

1) Navigate to the correct area within the Field App
  a) Tap “resume inspection”
  b) Tap the structure where you would like to create a note
  c) Tap the correct area

2) Navigate to a note within the designated area
  a) Tap the green plus button in the bottom right-hand corner
  b) Tap the “Note” entry type in the lower right-hand side
  c) Tap the large green plus in the middle of the screen

3) Fill out the note in one of three ways
  a) Type out the note

  b) Tap the dictation button and speak the note

  c) Select a pre-existing template on the left-hand side and fill out the remainder of the note

    i) In order to make your own template, fill out content and then tap the small green plus button on the upper left-hand corner of the screen to save it for future use

4) Edit, finish, and save a note
  a) Tap “Save” on the right-hand side
  b) To make changes to the note, tap the note deposited in the thumbnail tray at the bottom of the screen to edit, delete, or save
  c) Return to the designated area
  d) Click on the note thumbnail in the designated area at any time to revisit the note

ADDING AUDIO NOTES

1) Navigate to the correct area within the Field App
  a) Tap “resume inspection”
  b) Tap the structure where you would like to create an audio note
  c) Tap the correct area

2) Navigate to an audio note within the designated area
  a) Tap the green plus button in the bottom right-hand corner
  b) Tap the “Audio” entry type in the lower right-hand side

3) Create an audio note
  a) Tap the red record button
  b) Speak the audio note

  c) Tap the red button to stop the audio recording
  d) Tap the play button to listen to the recording

4) Edit, finish, and save an audio note
  a) Tap “save” on the right-hand side
  b) To make changes to the audio note, tap the audio note deposited in the thumbnail tray at the bottom of the screen to edit, delete, or save the revised audio note
  c) Return to the designated area
  d) Tap the audio note thumbnail in the designated area at any time to revisit the audio note
